Wow....they are watching me!

Wow, I'm so flattered that some of my fellow co-workers are actually following my lead. I'm a waiter and everyone know that the first $5.00 that I earn are always put aside for my saving account. I call it my daily five. Now I come to find out that some of the servers are following my lead. THAT IS JUST GREAT!!

One of the ladies who always seems to be stress out over her finances told me that she had started doing the daily five. What was once five dollars is now over $50.00. GOOD FOR HER! I'm so happy to know that some people are actually coming to realize that you should always put something aside for a rainy day. BECAUSE WHEN IT RAINS...IT POURS.

My best goes out to her. I hope she sticks to this and makes it a part of her life. Soon, it will become a habit. A dam good habit that is.

    Hey, I like this! My last full time job was as a waitress. Since I live in a very rural area, tips were very poor. A good day was $20, and a good weekend night was $40. I always saved 10% of my tips and put it away.
